Creative Nights
A weekly program for grieving children ages 10-18, beginning Monday Aug 24th. These programs are a safe environment for grieving children that focuses on the creation of art, music, writing and building positive relationships with adults and peers. This program provides your child a chance to to choose, when, how, and with whom to talk about their grief, in their time.
When: Weekly on Monday’s Starting Aug 24th - Dec 7th AND Jan 25th - May 10th
Where: Either Collective for Hope Campus - 8000 Chicago St, Omaha, NE 68114 OR Omaha Performing Arts, Tenaska Center 1115 Dodge St, Omaha, NE 68102
Time: 6:00 pm - 7:45 pm
Fall Fishing Event
This program provides young people ages 10-18 a chance to learn how to fish and explore the outdoors alongside positive adults and peers. Throughout the day young people share stories, explore the outdoors, and use creativity to tell their grief stories.
When: Sat Sept 19th, 2026
Where: Wehrspann Lake @ Chalco Hills Recreation Area (8901 S 154th St, Omaha, NE 68138)
Time: 10:00 am - 3:30 pm
Song-Writing Event
This programs provides grieving people ages 10-18 a chance to take their memories and connections to those they have lost and turn them into an actual song alongside a professional song-writer. Throughout the day, young people get a chance to share their stories, connect with positive adults and peers, and use music to tell their stories.

Overnight at the Zoo
This program provides grieving children ages 10-18 a chance to connect with adults and peers at event that brings together art and the natural world at an overnight stay at the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo. To attend this event a child must have previously attended Creative Nights or one of the other programs noted above.
When: Friday April 1st - Sat April 2nd, 2027

End of Year Celebration
This program is a celebration of all that has been created, shared, and experienced throughout the year. If your child has attended any of our programs, they are welcome to not only join, but be a part of this event by submitting their art, creative works, stories, etc. to be part of this celebration and showcase.
